Defence against warning letters & customs seizures

Warning letters, preliminary injunctions and customs seizures are common means used by owners of registered rights such as patents, trademarks and designs to stop infringements of their intellectual property. In cooperation with our in-house lawyer and our in-house patent attorney as independent professionals, we show you your options and the best way to respond and defend yourself.

Employee inventions

An employee invention (service invention) is a patentable or utility-model-eligible invention made by an employee in the course of their duties. In principle the invention belongs to the employer – but the employee is entitled to reasonable remuneration. Our in-house lawyer and our in-house patent attorney as independent professionals help you calculate this “reasonable” remuneration and safeguard your rights as an employer or employee.

Inventor remuneration calculator

With employee inventions (service inventions), calculating the inventor’s remuneration precisely is one of the key questions. Our calculator gives you a first indication of what your inventor’s remuneration could amount to.
